Scams have been going on since the beginning of humanity 300BC was the first recorded case of insurance fraud
The advent of computers and instant communication has increased the number of scams.
Below are common IT scams.
This does not cover all scams; it would be impossible to do that as it is an ever-evolving field.
When in doubt, it is best to use a knowledgeable relative, your IT support provider or even your bank if it claims to be from your bank.
We are also sure that scammers would be inventing new and wonderful ways to contact you.
